On April 2, 2025, The Chamber of Catawba County led a delegation of Chamber Board Members and Advocacy Task Force Members with Lumin Strategies, to engage with our elected officials in Raleigh.
The Chamber delegation had the opportunity to hear from Speaker of the House Destin Hall, Senior Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee Dean Arp, Senate Majority Whips Todd Johnson and Amy S. Galey, and NC Chamber’s Vice President of Government Affairs, Jake Cashion, during a Joint Meeting.
Additionally, they met with Representative Mitchell Setzer and Representative Jay Adams as well as Senator Mark Hollo.
The Chamber of Catawba County supports public policy that promotes a strong business climate and fosters economic development. We strive not only to serve as a go-to source for well-considered policy, but work to have a thoughtful impact on policy-making at both the local and state levels.
