The Chamber of Catawba County hosted a Ribbon Cutting for Carolina West Wireless/Bark Mobile’s new Wireless on Wheels (WOW) mobile store on March 26, 2025.
The new service makes wireless service more accessible in the region. Carolina West Wireless is committed to bringing better wireless right to your neighborhood. The mobile store will be in attendance at local events and will also be partnering with businesses throughout their 11 county service area.

The mobile store offers on site activation, product demonstrations, accessories, and exclusive offers and savings only available at the mobile store.
Additionally, the mobile store serves as a destination. Step right up to the mobile store for fun and games like cornhole, Plinko, and Connect-4. You can also spin the prize wheel for a chance to win awesome prizes.
Dozens of community and business leaders attended the ceremony held at 1710 US Highway 70 SE in Hickory.
