The Chamber of Catawba County takes pride in highlighting the esteemed individuals who have committed to serving on our Board of Directors. This dedicated group of volunteers, reflecting the diverse landscape of our business community, is devoted to shaping the organization’s vision and priorities.
Annually, a new chair is appointed to lead the Board, chosen by their peers for their active involvement, influence, and alignment with our mission. We are excited to share that Dana Killian, President & CEO of Carolina Caring, will be serving as our 2025 Board Chair.
Killian joined Carolina Caring in January 2020. Carolina Caring is one of the most comprehensive and forward-thinking nonprofit serious illness care providers in the nation. Killian is truly passionate about protecting and expanding healthcare access to all who need it, engaging with our communities to improve quality of life, and achieving equity of care.
Prior to joining Carolina Caring, Killian held various hospital administration and strategic growth positions at Frye Regional Medical Center, Tenet Healthcare, and Duke LifePoint.
Killian earned her Master’s in Business Administration from Gardner-Webb University with a concentration in healthcare administration and is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is a Catawba County native and mom to two Appalachian State University students.
“It is an honor to help lead such a respected and effective group of community leaders in the fulfillment of The Chamber’s Strategic Priorities,” states Killian.
As Board Chair, Killian looks forward to working with President/CEO Lindsay Keisler, the Executive Committee, and Board of Directors to continue efforts to support making this a community that is conducive to thriving businesses.
Killian hopes her leadership will help the community be more forward focused and supportive of the furtherment of The Catawba County Chamber Foundation.
