On August 27, we hosted a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the official Grand Opening of Meritage Homes’ newest community, Walnut Reserve. Walnut Reserve is located at 1209 30th St Lane, NE in Hickory and features a variety of two story single family floorplans ranging from 3-5 bedrooms.
Remarks were made by Chamber President/CEO Lindsay Keisler, City of Hickory Mayor Hank Guess, and Meritage Homes’ Division President Steven Romano.
The location, located in the St. Stephens area of Hickory, features a playground and easy access to I-40 and other highways, providing direct access to Charlotte, Mooresville, Asheville, and Blue Ridge.
Homes begin from the $300s and move-in ready homes are available. When complete, there will be over 180 homes in the subdivision. Meritage Homes is setting the new standard in home construction and design and leading the way in energy-efficient homes.
Walnut Reserve offers five floor plans ranging in size from 1528-2352 square feet. Features include spacious kitchens, superior construction with Energy Star certified homes, automation features, luxurious primary suites, and health, comfort, and energy savings in each home.
