The Chamber of Catawba County welcomed the 2024-25 Leadership Catawba cohort last Thursday, August 15, at Abernathy Laurels.
A welcome and overview of the program and expectations were outlined by Kim Dahlsten, Director of Leadership Catawba & Vice President of Operations. Special remarks were made by Pat Carver, Area Executive with First Citizens Bank, and 2024 Board Chair of The Chamber of Catawba County.
The cohort participated in brief introduction activities, followed by group work to establish their core values for their program year.
On August 16, the cohort ventured out to Retreat at Treetop Adventures Lake Hickory. Participants were guided through various team building exercises and physical activities, and completed a ropes course.
Leadership Catawba is the longest running program of The Chamber of Catawba County. The program has educated and equipped thousands of Catawba County residents with information about the social, economic, and political dynamics of our community.
