Through personal and professional development and broad exposure to the community, Leadership Catawba equips professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to be effective leaders committed to the future of Catawba County.
Since 1974, Leadership Catawba has provided the opportunity to connect on a deeper level to our county and interact directly with key community leaders, preparing individuals to grow personally and professionally as a future leader. The program challenges each participant not only to be an effective and influential leader within their own organization, but to lead within our greater community through personal commitment and involvement.
The program is limited to one (1) participant per business, ensuring the greatest exposure to the community and business leaders throughout the county. Should a second team member be interested in attending, their completed application will be placed on a wait list, pending availability.
Application Quick Facts:
- Please review the 2024-25 program dates. Dates are found on page 2 of the Information Packet here.
- Attendance at all program dates is expected. No more than 12 total hours may be missed to complete the program and graduate.
- The online application deadline is May 24th or when cohort reaches class capacity of 36 participants, whichever comes first. A delay in submitting a completed application may result in being placed on the wait list for the 2025-26 program.
- A high-resolution color headshot for marketing and promotion is due with the online application.
- Tuition for the program is $1,495 (Chamber partners) and $1,895 (general public)
- Tuition is not due at the time of application. If confirmed for the 2024-25 cohort, an invoice will be provided with payment due by July 19.
