On August 17, 2023, we hosted a Ribbon Cutting for The Premier Music & Event Space. The Premier is a new 8,000 sq ft facility that features an open air bar, state of the art sound, lighting, and space to accommodate up to 600 people. They are open Wednesday through Saturday from 5:00-10:00 PM and Sunday from 1:00-7:00 PM. The Premier is located at 109 11th Street NW in Hickory.
We kicked off our celebration with remarks from Chamber Ambassador, Meredith Willis, who then introduced Zack Cranford, President of Cranford Hospitality and Chair of the Chamber Board of Directors. Mayor Hank Guess commended Zack, and Josh Goodfellow, Owner, and Isaac Hoff, Director of Operations, on their accomplishments and investment in creating destinations to help anchor the City of Hickory’s City Walk. Josh and Isaac shared a brief business story about how The Premier came into existence.
Following remarks, guests in attendance joined outside to officially cut the ribbon and to pop some confetti, in celebration of The Premier’s Grand Opening.
The Premier also offers Jukebox bingo and karaoke every Wednesday and Sunday Funday every Sunday, featuring pickleball, cornhole, yardgames, and a food truck.
The Premier also offers full service event coordination including music bookings, catering, rentals, and more for private functions, business events, receptions, luncheons, reunions, fundraisers, and more.
