From April 22 through August 12, we will be recognizing each one of our Ambassadors on Fridays! Learn more about this highly visible public relations team and how they are responsible for engaging, encouraging, nurturing, and expanding relationships on behalf of The Chamber.
Sarah grew up in Newton and graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Major in Communications Studies. She has worked at the Catawba County Partnership for Children since August 2020. Sarah recently graduated from the 2021-22 Leadership Catawba cohort and joined the board of the Women’s Resource Center.
She’s also a volunteer Guardian ad Litem and Third Vice Chair of the Catawba County Democratic Party. Sarah currently resides in Conover with her cats Bruce and Carol.
Why did you apply to become an Ambassador?
To further my connections within the community so that I can better get the word out about what we do at the Catawba County Partnership for Children and also better learn about what other nonprofits and businesses have to offer.
What are you looking forward to most about being an Ambassador?
Bringing more nonprofits and minority owned businesses into The Chamber.
What is your favorite Chamber event and why?
First Friday Morning Brew! Always a fun event and a great netgiving opportunity.
