From April 22 through August 12, we will be recognizing each one of our Ambassadors on Fridays! Learn more about this highly visible public relations team and how they are responsible for engaging, encouraging, nurturing, and expanding relationships on behalf of The Chamber.
This Hickory born and raised, Appalachian State graduated moved away five times and came back six. After 15 years in the corporate world (healthcare recruitment, client development, digital advertising), Erica met her husband, Sean. Together, they started FOURK restaurant which opened in 2015.
Their plan was for Erica to help at FOURK for just the first six months, but she fell in love with the restaurant world and it quickly turned into seven years. She still “works” at FOURK sometimes but her full time job is now working at SERVPRO in business development and digital marketing. This has been a great opportunity for her to use her advertising background, as well as become more involved in her community.
When not at work, Erica enjoys supporting children’s charities through the Hickory Lady Elks, mentoring through the Council on Adolescents, and providing guidance to entrepreneurs. She and her husband have three rescues and consider them “little people in fur coats.” She enjoys life in the sunshine, whether it be through travel, wining and dining, live music events, jogging down 127, or walking their dogs.
