Chamber President/CEO Lindsay Keisler and Advocacy Director, Brian Francis, spent the day in Raleigh with several leaders from our Advocacy Taskforce. They met with members of our state delegation, Representative Jay Adams, Representative Mitchell Setzer, and Senator Dean Proctor. Our Advocacy Taskforce had the opportunity to meet and engage in policy discussions with members from the Charlotte Region’s delegation and other leaders in the North Carolina General Assembly.
While on the halls, they crossed paths with leaders from our local arts and culture organizations and the United Arts Council of Catawba County who were also spending the day at the Legislative Building.
They concluded with the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance Legislative Reception where they heard remarks from Governor Roy Cooper.
