On January 25, 2024, we celebrated our First Ribbon Cutting of 2024 with Bumgarner Oil, parent company of Cubbard Express.
At Bumgarner Oil, they love pizza almost as much as they love being Hickory, North Carolina’s #1 oil company. At the end of 2019, they purchased a Little Caesars Express franchise. Like Little Caesars, Bumgarner Oil started out as a small, family run business, which is one of the reasons the company decided to pursue this franchise opportunity.
Running this franchise gives Bumgarner Oil another opportunity to work in and serve their community, especially in their newest location, which officially opened on January 19. The Bumgarner team felt a need to create a destination in a location where there is a void in places to eat. The new Little Caesars at Propst Crossroads is located at 5340 NC-127 South in Hickory, NC.
Remarks were made by Chamber Ambassador Meredith Willis, followed by Chamber President/CEO Lindsay Keisler, and City of Hickory Mayor Hank Guess. Zach Bumgarner, Vice President of Bumgarner Oil, shared a brief business story about how they revamped the 50 year old building into their third Little Caesar’s location.
This Little Caesars serves as Bumgarner Oil’s first traditional store, meaning they will be offering a full menu, online ordering, and even delivery. A Grand Opening Event will take place on January 27, 2024 from 11:00 am-3:00 pm with giveaways for a year of free pizza, raffles, and more!
