Carolina Wealth Stewardship Group, with offices in Raleigh and Hickory, is led by Benjamin Glover and Adam Keisler. Spectrum Financial, located in Hickory, was founded by John Nelson in 1996 and is currently owned by his son, Peter Nelson. In April 2026, Spectrum Financial joined forces with Carolina Wealth Stewardship Group, bringing the two businesses together through a shared approach to financial planning and client relationships. Together, they are connected by a shared focus on helping clients better understand and navigate their financial lives.

Each owner brings a different background and experience to the work. Benjamin Glover, originally from Hendersonville, Tennessee, began working in the financial industry in 2007 and now lives in Raleigh. Adam Keisler, a Conover native and graduate of NC State University, entered the industry in 2015. Peter Nelson earned degrees in Business/Finance from the University of Vermont and Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University. All three are committed to their clients and the community around them through personal engagement and volunteer leadership.
According to the team, their work is rooted in more than numbers and investments. They shared that their inspiration comes from a desire to help people better understand their financial lives and make informed decisions about their future.
“We often say there are three buckets of knowledge in life: what you know, what you don’t know, and what you don’t know you don’t know,” Keisler said. “When it comes to personal finances, that third bucket can feel overwhelming for many people. We saw an opportunity to help educate and guide clients as they work through important financial decisions.”
Carolina Wealth Stewardship Group said they provide holistic, goal-based financial planning intended to bring clarity, direction, and confidence to each client’s financial journey. By combining personalized advice with technology tools, the team said they develop strategies designed to be both practical and actionable.
When asked what they enjoy most about their work, the group pointed to the long-term relationships they build with clients over time.
“Many of our clients become more like friends,” Keisler said. “We value the opportunity to walk alongside them, providing guidance and support as they navigate the path toward financial independence and long-term financial confidence.”
As the newly aligned organizations look ahead, the team said they are excited about the opportunities created through their partnership. They shared that they plan to remain focused on continuing to serve clients while expanding their presence across the region.
