The Catawba County Chamber of Commerce provides a variety of programs offering quality training, recognition, networking, and some of the most prestigious opportunities for community involvement in the region. Through these programs, events and publications, members can promote their products and services to each other and to a broader audience. These exposure opportunities are a great way for members to market their businesses and connect to potential customers or clients. Business Expo
A one-day trade show allowing you the opportunity for you to share your business with over 200 exhibitors and 3000 plus attendees

Annual Membership Breakfast
The year’s most important business event and an outstanding showcase opportunity for your company to 350 business leaders

Faith in the Future Awards
This award, presented at the Chamber’s Annual Breakfast Meeting, is premised on the concept that businesses, which make significant investments in their company and/or this marketplace, should be recognized for their impact on our area’s economy

Women’s Leadership Conference
This conference is designed to enrich, educate and provide breakthrough success strategies for the professional businesswomen.

Leadership Development Course
Whether your business is large or small, skillful leadership is required for ongoing success. If you supervise people, any number of people, this course is for you.

Economic Development Updates
Top economists and business leaders share their outlook for Catawba County and the region. Participants will also hear from speaker(s) on specific economic trends. (Winter/Fall 2009)

Membership Golf Classic
The golf green is becoming a hotspot for business to be conducted. Focus your skills and enjoy a wonderful afternoon of golf, business networking and fun! (Fall 2009)

Government Forums
An "up close and personal" opportunity to meet and hear from federal, state and local elected officials and public administrators on key legislative topics

Member Receptions and Business after Hours
Member Receptions and Business After Hours are all about networking. Held monthly at member locations, this event gives you the opportunity to meet prospective clients and expand your list of contacts.

Get to know candidates running for elective offices before you vote.

Manufacturers’ Council
The Chamber’s largest members work together to maintain and enhance the strength of Catawba County’s manufacturing sector

Small Business Series
These programs will focus on the issues facing small businesses. More than 94% of the Chamber’s members have fewer than 50 employees

Chairman's Circle
The premier sponsorship program of the Catawba County Chamber of Commerce receiving benefits all year long

Visitor Center Showroom
The “Front Door” to the Hickory Metro Community, located in the Visitor Information Center, welcomes more than 15,000 visitors a year

Board of Directors
The governing body of the Catawba County Chamber of Commerce. This is an appointed position.

Golf Planning Committee
Get involved in this "hands-on" committee that assists staff in planning the golf outing.

Government Affairs Council (GAC)
Represents the various business sectors of the Chamber membership, while working to define and advocate for the Chamber business political agenda. This is an appointed position.

Business-Education Partnership
Working to create a better synergy between what the business community needs and the education community is delivering in terms of prepared adult citizens. This is an appointed position.

Catawba Business Coalition
Making a contribution to the Coalition (the Chamber Political Action Committee) can help further the Chamber's business political agenda and help gain meaningful influence in key areas of our state government. This is an appointed position.

Women's Leadership Conference Planning Committee
A one-day conference providing valuable resources and programming for women.

Business Expo Planning Committee
A one-day business to business marketing venue to showcase your business.

Area Councils
The Area Councils are established to protect and promote the interests of the community it serves and have a voice within the Chamber membership. This is an appointed position.

Independent Business Owners
Independent business owners who meeting monthly to discuss timely issues, serve a brain trust for each other and eliminate entrepreneurial isolation.

Manufacturers' Council
A group to enhance the growth and stability of manufacturing businesses through cooperative relationships and direct action.
